With 20 years of hospitality experience, Eric Hastings is an accomplished Sommelier and Beverage Director. Eric has developed and managed beverage programs in Colorado, Texas, Anguilla, and New York City. His employers have ranged from single-unit operators to global restaurant groups and all have focused on providing an exquisite experience in food and beverage. 

In his endless pursuit of knowledge, Eric was a finalist for the inaugural Top|Somm - America's Top Sommelier, won the Ruinart Challenge, placed 3rd in the Wines of South Africa Sommelier Cup and has received the Grand Award from Wine Spectator for the wine list at Jean-Georges as well as recognition from The World of Fine Wine as having one of the Best Wine Lists in the World. Eric has also been featured in industry magazines and publications such as Wine Spectator, Wine & Spirits, Tasting Table, World of Fine Wine, Somm Journal, Houston Chronicle, Forbes and Eater. 

Outside of the hospitality business, Eric has been an educator for the American Sommelier Association, conducted Wine and Tasting seminars for corporate clients, consulted with collectors and served as a volunteer sommelier & captain for various wine events such as New York Wine Experience, La Paulee, Burdigala and La Fete du Champagne.
