Erin Brooks is a Certified Sommelier from Santa Fe, New Mexico. After
graduating from the College of Santa Fe with a B.A. in Creative Writing
and Politics, she became involved in the service industry and fell in
love with wine. She has since worked as a restaurant manager, sommelier and
wine director. Erin is a recipient of the Walter Clore Scholarship and the
2015 André Tchelistcheff Advanced Course Scholarship. She has passed
with distinction both the intermediate and advanced level exams for the
Wine & Spirit Education Trust. In 2015, Erin relocated to Napa and
currently works for the Thomas Keller Restaurant Group as head sommelier
at Bouchon Bistro in Yountville, CA. She also works as a freelance food
and wine writer and as a sommelier and wine educator for private
clients. She is hard at work preparing for the Court of Master
Sommeliers Advanced exam and is enrolled in the Wine & Spirit
