MY LIGHT BULB MOMENT
My first trip to Burgundy in 1987 where I fell in LOVE with French food, French Girls and French Wine. I started my restaurant career in 1983 and learned about Washington and French Wines at the Alexis Hotel (****). I was never shy of being "on-stage" and studied French in HS and College. My parents were very successful and got into wine in the 1960's. My father has a 6000 btl cellar with many of the world's greatest wines and regions.
