Alabama Commercial Wine Competition: Alabama Wine, Inc., a non-profit 501-c-3 corporation, was founded with the mission "...to promote Alabama wine..." and the annual Competition for all commercial Alabama wines will be on August 11, 2018. Invitations to all Alabama wineries have been mailed, well-qualified wine judges are being selected, and Pit Cru (back room volunteers) are being recruited. Watch the Alabama Wine website in late August for the list of winning wines.
Big Spring Crush Wine Festival in Huntsville, AL - Sept. 28-30, 2018: 2018 is the 5th anniversary of this very popular wine event in North Alabama! This year, the festivities start on Friday and end on Sunday --3 days of wine fun. Kristen Lindelow of Tennessee Valley Wine Academy will be offering wine education workshops. Full details to come.
