Becoming fascinated with wine's cerebral and sensory pleasure at a young age, let alone its historical association to art, language and culture, I became a voracious reader of all things wine. At the age of 19 I taught my first wine class and at the ripe old age of 21, became one of the first sommeliers in Texas. In my twenties I developed the beverage program for the Shoreline Restaurant Corporations numerous restaurants and set a new bar for innovation in food and wine pairing. After leaving the hospitality industry I moved into the fine wine retailer arena to which I held positions as Wine Director, Director of Fine Wine Marketing and Corporate Wine Buyer. During this tenure I also secured a wine writing position will a North Texas lifestyle publication and I have authored over 50 articles on the subject of fine wine. I founded Wine Service Consulting, Inc. (WSC) in 2005, to offer a more diverse service to the wine world. WSC conducts expert witness and wine claims investigations in the Inland & Marine shipping industry. WSC also conducts wine service training for the private/ corporate aviation industry and cellar appraisals for collectors, estates and divorce.
