MY LIGHT BULB MOMENT

I first got the wine bug about 5 years ago while working at small italian family owned restaurant. The guest asked for Amarone; I had no idea if it was red, white, a cocktail, or even a beer. Same guest asked to have his Chateauneuf du Pape "decanted"; I had no idea what that meant. When i got home that night, I spent 4 hours reading about Amarone and wine service online. It was then that I decided to pursue wine as a career. It must have been the elegance and romance of it all.
