The interesting dilemma about a career is that if you do it right, you may end up someplace entirely different than where you started, but always with a sense of learning, and that's what I see for #winestudio - understanding our world through wine and our part in that world.

MY LIGHT BULB MOMENT
It was a last-minute reservation at The Herbfarm, Woodinville, WA. The highlight for me was the professionalism and ease that each staff member elicited. I wanted that confidence and knowledge, that sense of complete trust of each member’s ability at any given time during the evening. The wine was part of the entire experience, and it fit so seamlessly, floating from course to course—a tightly choreographed play where guest was center stage. Within 2 years I became a Sommelier.
RAVE REVIEWS
"It’s hard to describe #winestudio as just one thing. If you think about a complex machine with many moving parts, operated by a skilled technician, you’ll come close to understanding its essence. Tina Morey brings together people from all walks of wine: growers, distributors, sommeliers, and enthusiasts attend her virtual salon each Tuesday night to discuss every aspect of making, selling, and enjoying wine. Participating in #winestudio over the past year has expanded my wine education far beyond what’s in the books. Listening to a winemaker explain the challenges of vineyard variation makes me appreciate what’s in my glass that much more. And interacting with fellow participants around the world has widened my perspective on what wine is all about. Whether you’re in the wine business or just want to learn more about what’s in your glass, #winestudio is a high-powered way to significantly “up” your wine game."

"Working with #winestudio was a fantastic experience for us! Sessions were insightful, energetic, and exciting, and the timeline of four consecutive weeks allowed us to dig deep into meaningful discussions with knowledgeable people. Above all, we appreciated Tina's efficiency and detail oriented work, which set us up to achieve our goals...and then some!"

I began my career writing...anything. Not only does it help to find your written voice but it develops your true life focus for what's ahead. I centered on Technical Writing because I enjoyed the structure and absolute truth involved but I missed that whimsical part of me so I also wrote creatively. Oddly enough marketing came next because I felt there needed to be a way to effectively communicate in many forms.

Fast forward a million years to my company #winestudio where I feel that I've accomplished what I began and where my choices led me: marketing | pastry | gastronomy | wine | communication.

The #winestudio Twitter chat is a month-long beverage education and brand marketing program, Tuesdays 9-10pm EDT, that organically produces evergreen content while sharing branded insight to an engaged and targeted audience. #winestudio can be used to kick off campaigns, highlight particular products, increase brand awareness and much more.

When #winestudio began, it was part revolutionary. The program was always meant as inclusionary – anyone can participate, no matter at what level because everyone has a voice. And now folks are truly embracing it. Those that have other jobs not in wine have taken to the program brilliantly saying that this is how they study. And those who are in the industry but have yet to taste particular wines want to join. It’s a wine-win for all. And this is why #winestudio works for participants and brands - we are always much more powerful when working together.
